DAY
1 : ISTANBUL
Arrival at Istanbul where all passengers
will be assisted by our staff and guides. In order to give
that special Turkish touch, girls dressed in traditional
costumes will also greet passengers at the airport and will
present ladies with flowers and distribute lokum, a special
Turkish sweet. Upon arrival at the hotel guests will be
led to the MEGA Destination Courtesy desk for check-in.
"Welcome Kits" prepared with your logo containing
maps and general information will be distributed with the
keys. Rest period before the first night in Istanbul, "THE
MAGIC CITY". Dinner at the hotel.
DAY
2 : ISTANBUL
After buffet breakfast meeting will take place.
Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon the group will leave
for the orientation and Byzantine Art Tour. Drive over the
Golden Horn pass under the Roman Aquduct of Valens, visits
the Chora Church and Museum, Byzantine Underground Cistern
and Hippodrome where Obelisk of
Theodosius Serpentine is located. Last stop will be the Basilica
of St.Sophia . Before visiting the
interiors of the history of Istanbul and Turkey together with
refreshments in the cool garden. The group will be directly
taken to the Fishermen's Village Kumkapı where marvelous fish
dishes will be served. Return to the hotel.
DAY
3 : ISTANBUL
- KUSADASI
After
buffet breakfast and hotel check-out Bosphorus cruise by a
private yacht will be taken. Refreshments served on board
while a fashion show takes place. Cruise will be along the
Europen and Asiatic shores. Lovely Ottomon Villas along the
shores of Bosphorus will be seen. The group will be taken
to the Le Pecheur fish restaurant on the shores of the Bosphorus.
After lunch visit the Süleymaniye Mosque
and the Topkapi Palace and transfer
to Istanbul airport for a late afternoon flight. Luggage is
transferred separately. They will fly to Izmir. Arrival and
transfer to Kusadası. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
DAY
4 : KUSADASI
After
a buffet breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit the Hellenic
cities of Priene, Miletus
and Didyma with lunch at a local restaurant. After a short
rest period in the hotel, dinner at a typical restaurant in
Kusadasi or attend a beach party.
DAY
5 : KUSADASI
In
the morning after having breakfast they will be taken to
Ephesus to visit the ruins. Ephesus played a major role
in the development of architecture, religions, govermental
and economic systems and arts. The temple of Artemis was one
of the Seven wonders of the ancient world and center of pagan
religion for 15 centuries. Here Mark, Antony and Cleopatra
once rode in procession, and St.Paul preached in the great
theatre and in the little house outside the city the
Virgin
Mary spent her last days. Lunch will be served back in
the hotel. Free time for swimming and rest. Then the great
night comes ! Late afternoon an old Nostalgic Train will be
waiting at the train station to give the group a 45 min. ride
to Sultanköy in Selcuk.
This
is a small village where the guest will attend a Wedding
Party Feast. Camels and donkeys take the bridge and her
family to the place where the ceremony will take place.
Then a country style buffet will be served while folk and
belly dancers mingle with the guests amidst the general
celebrations. Enjoy the night, on return to the hotel a
special gift will be awaiting everyone in their rooms.
DAY
6 : DEPARTURE
Early
morning. Early morning drive to Izmir. From there either the
direct flight to the country or connection flight via Istanbul
will be taken.
